Ms. Z
My favorite era of art is Dada and I enjoy making collages, re-purposing furniture, crocheting and hiking in my spare time. My favorite art museum is the MET in New York; each room itself is themed to match the artwork it displays! Plus the MET is free to visitors like our excellent art museum in St. Louis.
I grew up in Webster Groves, MO, home of the Statesmen and went to Truman State University in Bulldog country and am now excited to root for the Troy Trojans! At Truman State University I received a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Printmaking and a MAE in Visual Arts Education. Previously I taught elementary art in North County and am now one of the team of awesome high school art educators in Troy. At TBHS I assist with after school activities like, Educators Rising, Conservation Club, GSA and Art Guild. If you're interested, ask me about how to get involved! I also host office hours after school on Monday, Tuesday & Friday after school until 3:30. |
