Caricatures are drawn images of people that exaggerate that person's unique characteristics. In an ideal caricature the image would almost look more like the person that themselves. Students are challenged to create a caricature of a family member, friend, teacher or famous person
Mandalas originate from a sacred Tibetan Buddhist practice. Traditionally they are created with dyed sand and meant to be an impermanent art. Please review the following PPT for more information on Mandalas and the project students are creating in Art Fundamentals. We will be creating a Mandala on 9x9 paper in pen and/or pencil.
