Watch stop motion videos and write down ideas for materials, plot and any other things you find cool!
The following is a quote by Chihuly about color:
How do you feel about color? Create a quote that represents color to you. Look up a "how to draw" tutorial to complete in your journal. Draw the image step-by-step. Example: Turtle, Truck, T-Rex... and the list goes on.
Complete the "L" for Learned in your KWL chart. What did you learn last class about Dale Chilhuly or Glass Blowing.
THEN START WORKING ON YOUR PROPOSAL PROJECT ASAP! Create the first two section of a KWL chart in your journal. What do you already know about glass making or glass blowing? If nothing yet, what do you want to know about glass sculptures and their process?
In a drawing, use size to create a sense of space. Above is an example of forced perspective, where part of the image is closer to the camera than the background and creates an optical illusion.
BONUS: Create your own forced perspective photo and post to @tbhs_artz for extra credit |
