Artist Matthew Lively was declared the world's Squiggle Champion; he works with squiggles provided by strangers to create clever illustrations. Hand your journal to a neighbor. Draw a random line in your neighbor's journal. Pass it back. Use that line to create a completed scene or drawing in your journal.

Use your imagination to draw an animal hybrid. A "Chimera" is a Greek mythical figure combining the animals lion, goat and snake (see bottom right image below). Today many artists create animal hybrid images. Bonus awesomeness points if your hybrid is also your spirit animal.
Today we are going to talk about the solar eclipse and attempt to create a chalk resist image in honor of the event. In a chalk resist you use another object or item (usually paper or tape) to prevent the chalk from adhering to certain areas of surface of your artwork.
Artist Jer Thorp combines data and history in his artwork to help people control and understand the information around them. In 2017 Jer Thorp created an installation in Saint Louis call "The Map Room" where community members were invited to create a variety of giant maps of Saint Louis from their personal experiences. This begs the question: can maps be subjective? Use a basic outline of the United States of America to create your own map from memory. See also these maps of the USA created by British persons as compiled by Buzzfeed.
