Follow Ms. Z's directions step by step and we'll make some together using yellow construction paper. Please glue the snowflake into your journal. Kiri-e is one of the first versions of paper cutting and was used to create stencils for dying kimono fabric. It is amazingly intricate and is an inspiration for contemporary artists like Hino Aoyama whose artwork can be seen here:
